Full job description

• Aid in working with and onboarding transportation partners, managing daily trips and assisting parents and districts.
• Daily customer management including day-to-day operations, new client start-ups, client retention, and development.
• Assist in capturing new business opportunities with current and potential clients. Collaborate with internal staff on proposal writing and negotiation.
• Manage staff equipment and supplies necessary for trip execution (e.g., driver/staff badges, business cards).
• Maintain awareness of new legislation impacting alternative student transportation and assist in implementing these changes.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to develop reports and programs aimed at improving service quality, reducing costs, and increasing productivity.
• Ensure a safe and efficient environment for passengers, contractors, and non-riding public by adhering to regulatory and client policies and procedures.
• Comply with First Student policies and provide excellent customer service.
• Leverage technical skills to create reports, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and establish standard practices within FirstAlt.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
