Village Green Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team. Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team to plan, coordinate, provide, and manage nursing care, services, and health education to residents.
• Supervise the care/services provided by Certified Nursing Assistants and other staff.
• Carefully coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit, ensuring all assigned staff can provide appropriate care.
• Accurately administer medications to residents and ensure their proper implementation and documentation.
• Conduct thorough nursing assessments to evaluate the health status of residents and report any changes to the physician.
• Create and implement a care plan based on the results of the assessment.
• Select and implement appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a resident's condition and prevent complications.

Requirements

• Unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse license.

Qualifications

• Patience, compassion, and a desire to care for residents in a gentle and empathetic manner.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
