First Shift Assembler

Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Learn new skills and contribute to a bigger purpose (saving lives)
• Work with a team that values individuals and community
• Adhere to company policies, ISO, and special job requirements
• Set-up and run winding machinery
• Count wire turns on coil forms
• Lead-out and stack transformer cores
• Solder by dipping or using solder iron
• Utilize taping methods for transformers and coring
• Perform quality testing as instructed
• Accurately fill out production documentation
• Input programs into programmable machines and troubleshoot
• Record time and quantity produced on timesheets
• Assist in training new employees
• Pull up, write, and input programs into programmable machines
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant job-specific training
• Minimum six months of relevant experience in related industries
• Basic understanding of ISO requirements, quality audits, and corrective actions
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Ability to follow written, oral, and diagram instructions
• Good eye-hand coordination and ability to use measuring instruments
• Previous work with microscopes
• Problem-solving skills
• Independence or team-working ability
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
