Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Learn new skills and contribute to a bigger purpose (saving lives)
- Work with a team that values individuals and community
- Adhere to company policies, ISO, and special job requirements
- Set-up and run winding machinery
- Count wire turns on coil forms
- Lead-out and stack transformer cores
- Solder by dipping or using solder iron
- Utilize taping methods for transformers and coring
- Perform quality testing as instructed
- Accurately fill out production documentation
- Input programs into programmable machines and troubleshoot
- Record time and quantity produced on timesheets
- Assist in training new employees
- Pull up, write, and input programs into programmable machines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
- High school diploma or equivalent with relevant job-specific training
- Minimum six months of relevant experience in related industries
- Basic understanding of ISO requirements, quality audits, and corrective actions
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to follow written, oral, and diagram instructions
- Good eye-hand coordination and ability to use measuring instruments
- Previous work with microscopes
- Problem-solving skills
- Independence or team-working ability
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
