About the Role
We are seeking a First Assistant Technician to deliver high-quality, patient-centered surgical care.
Responsibilities
- Assist during operative and invasive procedures
- Prepare the operating room
- Act as a preceptor for other technicians
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols
- Verify all surgical counts
- Collaborate with staff to maintain a sterile environment
- Support safety initiatives such as patient identification and procedure verification
Requirements
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST, CSFA, or NBSTSA)
- Minimum of two years of experience or recent training
- BLS and ALS certifications from recognized agencies
- Commitment to ongoing education
