First Article Technician

About the role

The role involves performing various electrical and mechanical tasks to maintain and repair equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment
• Document all work performed and report findings to supervisors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing setting
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
• Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Skills

• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
• Familiarity with basic electrical and mechanical testing equipment
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations
