Firmware Engineer

About the role

The Firmware Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining firmware for embedded systems. This includes working closely with hardware engineers to ensure firmware meets system requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop firmware for various embedded systems
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with hardware components
• Perform unit and integration testing of firmware
• Debug and resolve issues in firmware
• Document design decisions, test results, and other relevant information

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in firmware development
• Experience with C/C++ programming languages
• Knowledge of microcontroller architectures and peripherals
• Experience with debugging tools and techniques
