Firestopping Installer / Door Repair Technician

About the role

National Firestopping Solutions (NFS) is a leading Firestopping contractor in the United States, serving businesses throughout New England and the Southeast. We install approved fire and smoke systems and devices to ensure safety and compliance with life safety codes. We provide full training to help you succeed in this trade.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all necessary materials and equipment are ready and loaded in the company vehicle.
• Seal, label, and document all joints, penetrations, and openings.
• Keep the jobsite organized and free of debris.
• Clean equipment and store materials properly at the end of each day.
• Assist field technicians with various tasks as needed.

Additional Responsibilities

• Learn firestopping installation basics.
• Participate in weekly safety meetings.
• Maintain company vehicles in clean and working order.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of hand tools and construction sites.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.
• Strong awareness of safety issues and solutions.
• Positive attitude and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Self-motivated and responsible.

Pay

Starting at $23.50/hour to $28/hour (Depending on Experience) with rapid growth potential.
