About the role

The Fire/Security Alarm Installation Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire and security alarm systems in various locations across the United States. This position requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair fire and security alarm systems
  • Communicate effectively with clients and other professionals to ensure system functionality and customer satisfaction
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on alarm systems to prevent failures
  • Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant regulations and standards

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • At least 2 years of experience in fire and security alarm installation or related field
  • Knowledge of fire and security systems, including but not limited to, alarm sensors, control panels, and backup power supplies
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed

  • Proficiency in using tools and equipment commonly used in fire and security alarm installations
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
