Fireproofing/Firestopping Sprayers

About the role

Long-term position in the Austin, Texas area lasting 6 months to 2 years. Work remotely with monthly in-person meetings; limited travel required.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural and structural drawings to verify fireproofing requirements and required thicknesses.
• Maintain equipment and verify that materials are mixed and applied correctly.
• Operate Graco 340E and HY-Flex machines.
• Collaborate with project managers and leadership teams during projects.
• Maintain BrandSafway’s reputation for precision, reliability, and integrity.

Requirements

• Legal to work in the United States and pass E-Verify.
• Ability to work well with others as a team in a construction environment.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Ability to work long hours and perform heavy lifting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Professional communication and follow-through.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous fireproofing experience, including spraying wet mix, dry mix, and intumescent materials.
• Experience working with specialty contractor clients in all climates.
