Responsibilities
- Practice best insulation techniques and train insulation, plaster, sealer, and spray helpers.
- Install products as permitted by collective bargaining agreements or project labor agreements.
- Read and interpret blueprints and sketches.
- Measure, shape, and cut materials to specified dimensions.
- Insulate, spray, plaster, trowel, seal, cover, wrap, staple, glue, and fit insulating, sealant, foam, and other materials.
- Review daily work schedule and ensure the truck is loaded with all necessary products, tools, and equipment.
- Complete vehicle safety and job site inspections.
- Safely unload and stage materials at job sites.
- Report safety, customer, or quality concerns.
- Maintain a clean work area at all times.
- Perform additional duties as assigned under collective bargaining agreements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle for company purposes (this is a safety-sensitive position).
- Local travel required; out-of-town travel may be necessary.
- Daily travel to job sites.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted for loading and unloading materials.
- Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crawl, and stand for extended periods, including ladder climbing and working in confined spaces.
Pay
Compensation range: $41.33 per hour. Actual offers may vary based on location, experience, skills, and market data. This position may also include variable compensation.
