About the role
We are seeking a Firefighter Paramedic responsible for emergency fire suppression, rescue operations, and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Responding to fire scenes
- Assisting in fire suppression, search and rescue, ventilation, and salvage operations
- Operating fire equipment and apparatus
- Driving fire trucks
- Conducting safety inspections
- Collaborating with health and public safety personnel, maintaining professional relationships
- Participating in community outreach programs to promote safety and community relations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid state driver’s license
- State BOF certification (IL)
- State or National Registered EMT-P certification
- ACLS certification (if EMT-P)
- AHA CPR/AED certification
