About the role

The Webster Groves Fire Department is a vibrant division within the City of talented Firefighters who serve our community with compassion and professionalism and share internally the importance of comradery and care as one team. The WGFD has 2 fire stations, 36-line personnel, an Assistant Fire Chief and a Fire Chief.

Requirements

• Graduate of the Greater St. Louis County Fire Academy, certified as Firefighter I and II (other schools/counties/cities cannot be considered)
• Licensed Paramedic (EMT‑P) in the State of Missouri
• Valid driver’s license (Emergency Vehicle Driver’s certification preferred)
• Pre‑hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Valid Candidates Physical Ability Test (CPAT) certificate issued within the past 12 months at time of job offer
• Background check and drug screening required

Pay

Starting salary $82,763.20 annually.
