Summary of Benefits

• Health Insurance: Cigna PPO coverage with low premiums ($25/single or $50/family per pay period), annual deductibles of $2,000/single and $4,000/family. The Township contributes to a Health Savings Account: $1,500 for singles and $3,000 for families. Opt-out incentives include $3,000 (single) or $6,000 (family).

Job Description

• State of Michigan Firefighter 1 & 2 Certification
• State of Michigan Basic EMT license (or Paramedic license/enrolled in a Paramedic program)
• Minimum 15 credit hours from an accredited college/university
• Successful passing of the Conference of Western Wayne (CWW) Firefighter Testing Program, Written and CPAT (Empco written may be substituted for Western Wayne written).
• Candidates must also pass drug screening, background investigation, psychological exam, multiple oral interviews, and post-offer physical.
