Responsibilities
- Drive fire department vehicles in emergency and non-emergency situations
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
- Clock in routine and non-routine maintenance
- Place apparatus at incidents
- Dispatch equipment and personnel
- Operate a variety of fire department vehicles
- Coordinate and provide a response to medical emergencies
- Develop and implement medical protocols
- Perform motor vehicle extrications
- Operate all medical equipment on a rescue truck
