About the role
Murray County Government is currently accepting applications for a Full-time Firefighter at the Murray County Fire Department.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of fire-fighting standards, practices, strategies, tactics and equipment
- Operation, maintenance and repair of fire apparatus
- Application of all fire codes
- Emergency first aid and CPR
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain certification as a Georgia Firefighter through the Georgia Firefighter Standards and Training Commission
Qualifications
- Provide a copy of a valid High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be 21 years of age
- Possess a valid Georgia driver’s license, class B non-commercial
- Pass a physical fitness agility test
