Firearms Sales Outfitter
About the role
The Sales Outfitter - Firearms supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers. They assist in making buying decisions by identifying and evaluating customers' needs, making product recommendations, promoting programs like CLUB membership, VOC, and IN Store Pick up.
Responsibilities
- Completes 4473 Forms thoroughly and accurately.
- Demonstrates products to customers.
- Maintains and organizes merchandise within the retail store.
- Replenishes product on shelves as required.
- Remains knowledgeable about advertised sales and maintains pricing.
- Aids in seasonal floor merchandise moves.
- Keeps work area clean, neat, and well-stocked with supplies.
- Fulfills all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in Retail.
- Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age or older.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Product knowledge of Firearms and Ammunition.
- Understanding of ATF Federal and State Regulations.
- Customer Service and Sales of Firearms and Ammunition.
- Merchandising and Stocking Products.
Physical Requirements
- Constantly stand and/or walk during shift.
- Occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps, etc.
- Constantly communicate with others to exchange information.
- Sometimes repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Sometimes operate machinery and/or power tools.
- Sometimes operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
- Occasionally work in tight and confined spaces.
- Occasionally work in noisy environments.
Independent Judgement
- Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation.
- Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems.
- Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
