Firearms Auditor

Responsibilities

• Review current firearms transfers across all stores to ensure compliance with ATF guidelines.
• Conduct remote audits of store’s ATF required records and books on a recurring basis.
• Respond to all requests from the ATF Tracing Center.
• Secondary point of contact for all store compliance questions.
• Ensure all non-POC stores have accessibility to LEEP for NICS background checks.
• Maintain ATF Bound Book logins and accounts for all Rural King locations.
• Fields and responds to all customer and store compliance issues regarding firearm transfers.
• Use general office equipment. Frequently operate keyboard to enter in information.
• Sit/stand/walk for long periods of time.
• Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Qualifications

• 1+ years of firearms compliance experience in a retail environment.
• ATF Compliance experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Must be proficient with report writers as well as creating reports from multiple data sources.
• Self-starter, critical thinker, good listener, and ability to work under pressure at a fast pace.
• Ability to participate in our online applicant and new hire onboarding process remotely.
• Ability to complete computer-based training.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations.
• Capability to lift 15 pounds periodically.
• Able to navigate and access all facilities.
• Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices.
• Close vision for computer-related tasks.

Skills
