- AES a division of Lennox, was established in 1988 and is one of the largest manufacturers of roof curbs and drop box diffuser systems in the nation.
- We have recently expanded our capabilities as a single source supplier by adding a Mechanical Services Division as well as becoming a Misc. Steel manufacturer.
- These new services will reduce construction costs and eliminate coordination with multiple suppliers and subcontractors.
- AES has 4 different fabrication facility locations nationwide to assist our customers and reduce their freight cost and shipment lead times.
About the Role
Fire Watch/Welders Helper
- Assist certified welders with daily welding tasks
- Provide Firewatch duties for welders
- Receive training and be capable of extinguishing fires
- Ability to travel throughout the U.S. on 3 to 4 week deployment cycles
- Learn safety policies and deploy proper safety equipment for welding duties
- Work with Welder's closely to ensure work performance is met

Requirements
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Have a clean driving record and valid driver's license to operate company vehicle
- Work after hours
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently throughout the U.S.

- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay
This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is $18/hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
