About the role

The Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service is seeking a contractor to install a wet fire suppression system in building 6418 at Moore Air Base, Texas. The building was constructed in the early 1980s with no fire suppression system initially, and a recent fire has necessitated the installation of a new system.

Project Summary

The contractor shall provide design/as-built drawings submittals and installation of a new retrofitted system. The system shall be a turnkey project encompassing everything needed to have a fully functioning fire suppression system.

Responsibilities

The contractor's responsibilities will include designing and installing a new fire suppression system, ensuring that it can connect to a fire panel in the future. The existing fire alarm panel/system is old and obsolete, and will be replaced at another time, but the new sprinkler system must be compatible with it.

Skills
