What You Will Do

We are leaders in the fire protection and security industry, and we're always looking for talented Installation and Service Technicians to keep our systems and technologies smart and connected. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing installed systems, organizing and utilizing technical resources, and programming fire alarm, security, and access control system panels.

How You Will Do It

• Troubleshooting and repairing installed systems
• Panel repair/reprogramming, device replacement/repair, resolving low voltage circuit troubles, and system testing
• Organizing and effectively utilizing technical resources, information, material, and support
• Excellent written/verbal communication and outstanding customer service skills
• Experience with CCTV and IT/IP networks is a plus
• Complete and submit all required task-related, activity, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner
• CCNA, A+, and Network+ certifications are a plus
• Occasional on-call and after-hours work required

Required

• 4+ years' experience with fire alarm systems
• Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications
• A good working knowledge of computers
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent organizational skills
• Positive attitude
• Ability to learn quickly
• Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting company requirements
• Retain any licenses required by National, State, and Local codes

Preferred

• Technical training
• NICET II preferred
• Experience with access control, security intrusion, sound, and communications systems
