Responsibilities

  • Maintain a minimum of three years of experience with fire sprinkler systems (preferred)
  • Hold a NICET certification or ACE Certification
  • Ensure timely completion of all inspections and accurate, thorough documentation
  • Test sprinkler control panels, devices, and functions, and enter results into a handheld device
  • Generate Sprinkler Inspection Reports after inspection completion
  • Participate in monthly team meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years' experience in commercial fire sprinkler systems
  • Study and adhere to NFPA standards for inspection and testing of fire protection systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, customer service orientation
  • Team environment experience, sprinkler experience preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in test equipment, Microsoft Office, and Palm unit operating systems
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred; High School diploma or equivalent with acceptable experience
  • Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills and be customer service oriented
  • Must be able and willing to work within a team environment
  • Must adhere to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy

Skills

  • Knowledge of NFPA standards
  • Ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Good networking and PC skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively via phone and computer

Physical Requirements

  • Industrial, commercial, and residential building environments with moderate to high noise levels
  • Standing, walking, climbing stairs, and climbing ladders

Pay & Schedule

$25 to $34 per hour DOE
