Responsibilities
- Manage field installations, including direct labor, materials, and expenses.
- Represent Marmic Fire in field site meetings.
- Maintain necessary equipment and materials to perform work efficiently without lost time.
- Understand, follow, and communicate contractual scope.
- Identify out-of-scope work and communicate potential scope changes to project managers and sales.
- Effectively deliver scope to technicians and subcontractors.
- Handle documentation and communication with strong technical writing skills for clients, managers, and technicians.
- Complete and store daily needs logs on time.
- Execute close-out documentation in a timely manner.
- Maintain weekly updated redline drawings.
- Foster a positive team environment with clear communication to ensure commitment to safety, integrity, growth, and professionalism.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings; be familiar with installation techniques.
- Travel as needed, with potential for extended periods.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of construction experience in fire sprinkler systems.
- Fire Sprinkler State License.
- Basic understanding of financial principles relative to operations.
- Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must pass pre-employment background checks and drug screenings, with ongoing compliance.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and moving equipment over 50 lbs, climbing ladders, using high-lift equipment, and working in confined spaces.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
Preferred Qualifications
- NICET Certification.
