Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, testing, servicing, and preventative maintenance of fire sprinkler equipment and systems in accordance with NFPA Codes.
  • Troubleshoot and repair defects in fire sprinkler systems and equipment.
  • Conduct detailed testing of fire sprinkler systems to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Provide accurate and detailed documentation of inspections, testing, servicing, and repair work.
  • Respond to emergency service calls and resolve urgent issues related to fire sprinkler systems.
  • Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure fire safety measures are integrated into all construction projects.
  • Keep up to date with the latest fire safety regulations and standards, including NFPA Codes and NICET guidelines.
  • Provide excellent customer service, maintaining professionalism and courtesy in all interactions.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians to foster team growth and development.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician with commercial and industrial scale projects.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of NFPA Codes and standards.
  • Must be a CO Registered Sprinkler Fitter.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting, repair, testing, maintenance, and inspection of fire sprinkler systems.
  • Exceptional technical skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Certification from the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) in Fire Protection Engineering Technology/Fire Alarm Systems is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Further education or certification in a relevant field is highly desirable.
