Job Summary
Plans, develops, organizes, and supervises the design and construction efforts for a total project. This will involve coordinating all design efforts as well as overall management of field construction activities. Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy.
Minimum Qualifications
- Five years’ experience/knowledge of construction, design, finance, and management required; or have an equivalent combination of education and experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects.
- Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
- In conjunction with contractor, ensure all design activities are completed accurately and on time in accordance with master schedule.
- Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards for project.
- In conjunction with Project Manager and/or Superintendent monitor/control construction to ensure project is designed and built on schedule and within budget.
- Function as the prime client contact coordinating the resolution of problems, reviewing progress, recommending alternatives, and advising on project objectives as dictated by corporate management.
- Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
- Review construction contract documents and coordinate with subcontractors and General contractor/owner to gather the required information to design the project’s sprinkler system.
- Create detailed drawings through extensive use of AutoSprink program.
- Maintain design historical records and historical records for all functions for future use.
- Identify changes in projects that impact cost, schedule, or labor requirements.
- Ensure work complies with codes and permits.
- Perform Hydraulic calculations.
- Ensure proper staffing is in place on each project.
- Must have or be able to obtain OSHA 10 certification.
- Forecast future manpower requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Background check, credit check, MVR and drug screen may be required (will vary by position).
- This position comes with an opportunity for a sign-on bonus, yearly discretionary bonus, and relocation bonus (if applicable).
