Fire Sprinkler Inspector - Abilene

About the role

Firetrol Protection Systems is seeking a Sprinkler Service Technician to support a diverse portfolio of service. You will maintain a relentless focus on meeting and exceeding customer needs and expectations, build relationships with current customers by delivering on promises, and create new relationships with potential customers in a proactive manner, promoting all services.

Responsibilities

• Perform sprinkler inspections
• Troubleshoot wet, dry, pre-action, deluge systems, backflow, and fire pumps
• Apply NFPA 13, 20 & 24 code requirements
• Use trade-appropriate tools to perform daily pipe fitting duties efficiently and safely
• Train others to use trade-appropriate tools efficiently and safely
• Operate a basic service platform

Requirements

• Texas RME-I License
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Sprinkler Service / Inspections
• Working knowledge of wet, dry, pre-action systems, deluge systems, backflow, and minimum knowledge of fire pumps
• Proficient in NFPA 13, 20 & 24 code requirements
• Ability to use and train others on trade-appropriate tools
• Clear background and ability to pass a hair follicle test
