About the role

The Sprinkler Foreman oversees all aspects of fire sprinkler system installation from start to finish, ensuring safe and compliant installations in commercial and residential buildings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation of fire sprinkler systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Oversee the installation, service, and troubleshooting of automatic fire sprinkler systems and related equipment.
• Direct and delegate tasks to fitters and helpers to meet project deadlines and scheduling requirements.
• Direct and/or participate in trenching and repair of underground mains, including backfilling and tamping.
• Ensure project results are achieved within financial and productivity budgets.
• Accurately complete, execute, and process required paperwork (electronic or paperless).
• Ensure all equipment, including specialty valves and fire pumps, is installed in strict compliance with manufacturer’s requirements.
• Conduct or coordinate necessary testing of the systems.
• Instruct and train helpers, apprentices, or other personnel in service, repair, and system installation processes.
• Coordinate daily work schedules and direct the daily tasks/productivity of assigned employees.
• Maintain open communication with customers and provide information as required via email, phone, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
