Manage and develop operations, sales, and administration within a company’s Service/Inspection Department. Assignments may focus on a specific segment such as Sprinkler, Inspections, or Fire Alarm.
Responsibilities
- Assume full Profit and Loss accountability for the Service/Inspection department.
- Ensure effective planning and achievement of project long-term and short-term goals.
- Maximize engagement and performance of service personnel in accordance with applicable laws and company values.
- Ensure adherence to budget parameters, financial reports, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with management, customers, and service/sales personnel.
- Build partnerships to grow the business within the industry marketplace.
- Oversee branch KPI results, including coaching, managing, and leading team members.
- Directly manage a team of employees, including hiring, coaching, developing, and performance management.
- Collaborate with the Sales Department on proposal development and delivery.
- Act as the point of contact between assigned team and branch leadership.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field (preferred).
- Professional certification in Fire Protection (e.g., State License, NICET, CSA, NAFED, ICC) required.
- 3+ years of experience in the B2B Services industry.
- 1+ years of supervisory or management experience.
- Strong marketing and sales strategy development experience.
- Working knowledge of the fire protection industry.
- Ability to set and meet aggressive business objectives.
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to lead staff to excellent performance.
- Strong history of building strategic partnerships and market growth.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and ability to pass a drug and background check.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and talking on the phone.
- Attending virtual online meetings and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and travel as needed.
