About the role
The Fire Rescue workers at Chicagoland Speedway and Route 66 Raceway provide immediate response to any emergency situation encountered during events. Their duties include responding to emergencies, fire suppression, accident/incident stabilization, patient assessment and/or care, and track cleanup.
Responsibilities
- Responding to emergency situations at events.
- Fire suppression.
- Accident / incident stabilization.
- Patient assessment and/or patient care.
- Track cleanup and ensuring the track is reopened as quickly and safely as possible.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience as a firefighter, or other related field.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
- Reliable transportation to and from the track location.
- Adherence to Substance Abuse Policy.
Qualifications
