Fire Restoration Project Manager

About the Role

IDR is seeking a Fire Restoration Project Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Memphis, TN. In this role, you'll lead residential and commercial restoration projects from initial assessment through closeout, ensuring quality work and an excellent customer experience. This position supports a well-established organization in the property restoration and construction services industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential and commercial fire/smoke restoration projects end-to-end, ensuring timelines, budgets, and standards are met
• Coordinate daily field activities such as pack-outs, storage, cleaning, move-backs, and non-salvage documentation
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and insurance adjusters, providing updates, resolving issues, and securing approvals
• Maintain accurate project documentation including photos, job notes, resources used, and billable activities in the appropriate systems
• Conduct quality control inspections and support jobsite safety, equipment/vehicle upkeep, warehouse organization, and supply inventory

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of insurance restoration and/or construction
• Working understanding of building materials, flooring, and property damage related to fire, smoke, water, and other causes
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with customers and insurance partners
• Ability to work independently while leading and collaborating with a team across multiple priorities and deadlines
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record; FSRT and/or OCT certifications preferred
