About the role
The Fire Protection Estimator/Designer will work on a contract, remote basis to support the planning and pricing of fire protection projects.
Responsibilities
- Review drawings and specifications
- Prepare detailed cost estimates
- Develop or modify fire protection system layouts in accordance with applicable codes and standards
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify scope, validate quantities, and refine designs as needed
- Analyze material and labor requirements
- Prepare bid proposals
- Maintain organized project documentation
- Communicate consistently via email, calls, and virtual meetings
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
