Fire Protection Engineer (5+ Years)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and quality-oriented Fire Protection Engineer with a minimum of five years of experience to perform consulting services for internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing existing fire protection systems and designing new fire protection systems including suppression systems, fire detection, alarm and mass notification systems.
• Performing building and fire code analysis and interpretation.
• Maintaining effective communication with colleagues and clients.
• Leading and managing internal team to provide well-coordinated and high-quality design sets.
• Managing profitability of projects and maintaining working relationships with clients.
• Conducting research and documentation for internal and external distribution.
• Attending and participating in local and national trade organizations, such as SFPE and NFPA.
• Engaging in business development activities and fostering long-term client relationships and creating new ones.
• Developing project budgets and writing proposals.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) required.

Pay

Expected annual salary of $95,000 - $145,000+.

Schedule

Full-time.
