Fire Protection Designer - Experienced

About the role

Benchmark Group is seeking a Fire Protection Designer to join their Project Team of Choice. Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection or Mechanical Engineering and at least 1 year of relevant work experience, or 5 years of experience in the Fire Protection field with demonstrated proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Fire Sprinkler design concepts to produce full sets of construction documents for commercial building projects.
• Train and work with licensed professionals in a collaborative team to perform a variety of design tasks.
• Design and develop construction documents for multiple types of projects using REVIT.
• May require minimal travel.

Requirements

• Must have one of the following:
• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection or Mechanical Engineering and 1 year of work experience in the Fire Protection design industry.
• 5 years of applicable work experience in the Fire Protection field or in Fire Protection design with demonstrated skill with Revit and/or AutoCAD.
