Fire Protection Designer

About the role

Coffman Engineers is seeking an entry-level Fire Protection Designer to join our Honolulu office. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for their craft and a desire to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop fire protection systems
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with codes and standards
• Use AutoCAD and Revit MEP to create detailed drawings and models
• Contribute to project documentation and reports
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulations

Requirements

• Two-year degree in CAD or two-years working experience using CAD
• Proficiency with AutoCAD
• Knowledge in Revit MEP (preferred)
• Work experience in drafting electrical or mechanical systems (preferred)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on a high-functioning team

Pay

The expected annual salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000.
