Fire Protection Designer - Entry Level

Requirements

• 2 years of work experience in the Fire Protection field or Fire Protection design industry
• 2 years of education from a college or technical school in the Fire Protection field, Mechanical field, or related

Qualifications

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection or Mechanical Engineering and 1 year of work experience in the Fire Protection design industry
• Preferred: 1 year of applicable work experience in the Fire Protection field or in Fire Protection design with demonstrated skill with Revit and/or AutoCAD

Responsibilities

• Utilize Fire Sprinkler design concepts to produce full sets of construction documents for commercial building projects
• Train and work with licensed professionals in a collaborative team to perform a variety of design tasks

Skills

• Understanding of REVIT to design and develop construction documents for our multiple types of projects (preferred)
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Creative problem-solving with attention to detail
• Dependable team player committed to achieving excellence

This position may require minimal travel.
