Responsibilities
- Develop fire protection designs in support of various Buildings Business Line projects.
- Lead the planning, design, and commissioning of building fire protection systems, fire suppression systems, and fire alarm systems.
- Coordinate with other support disciplines and regional offices.
- Assist fire protection engineers in the design of building projects.
- Follow quality assurance and quality control plans.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of building fire protection design and construction experience.
- Knowledge of fire protection engineering principals related to building fire protection designs.
- Proven experience with fire protection designs, including detailed plans and specifications for building projects.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Experience with Autodesk Revit.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
Preferred Skills
- NICET certification in Fire Protection.
- Experience with AIA MasterSpec.
- Knowledge of Federal Agencies design criteria.
