About the role

Responsible for designing and implementing fire protection and life safety systems in high-rise buildings and industrial facilities. Conduct inspections and provide recommendations to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement fire suppression systems, sprinkler systems, and other life safety measures.
  • Conduct inspections of existing facilities to identify potential hazards and recommend improvements.
  • Provide technical support and training to building management staff.
  • Stay updated on new developments in fire protection and life safety technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in fire protection engineering.
  • Knowledge of NFPA standards and local building codes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
  • Experience with risk assessment and hazard identification.

Skills

  • Fire protection engineering principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations.

Pay

  • $80,000 - $100,000 annually.

Schedule

  • Full-time position.
  • Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
