Fire Prevention & Security Officer I

About the role

The TCBH Security Department is hiring for a Fire Prevention/Security Officer. Duties would include inspection and patrolling of buildings and grounds for elimination of fire hazards; enforcement of laws, rules and regulations; providing assistance to employees or visitors; and performing other duties related to the protection of state property, employees, visitors and others.

Requirements

• No experience or education is required for Level I
• Must be able to pass an OSBI background check
• Willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license
• Must meet physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 60 pounds and able to push and pull a maximum force of 30 pounds

Pay

• Level I - $15.18 per hour
• $0.50/hr shift differentials when working evening or nights
• $0.75/hr weekends

Schedule

• Primary Working Hours are 11:30pm-8:00am
• FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
