About the role
The Fire Licensing & Scheduling Associate supports the fire life safety division by managing company and individual licensure applications, changes, and renewals. This role also assists with scheduling business services for multiple fire life safety customers and supports a variety of administrative projects.
Responsibilities
- Research and execute applications, changes, and renewals for company and individual licenses required in the fire life safety industry.
- Assist with scheduling business services for multiple fire life safety customers.
- Respond to general inquiries from management, employees, and customers both inside and outside the company.
- Interface with vendors and various internal teams.
- Assist with special projects and research as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years’ experience with demonstrated success at executing administrative practices at a high level.
- Self-starter who is dependable and looking to grow their skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions, complete work accurately and timely.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multi-task and effectively manage your day by working independently and as a team.
- Strong working knowledge of office equipment and systems like Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) with the ability to learn new technology quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, talking on the phone, attending virtual online meetings, and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
