Fire Inspector - Full-Time, Days

About the Role

Performs routine inspections and maintenance of fire suppression and control systems within a facility. Responds to fire alarms, fires, and medical emergencies, providing basic emergency care and assisting injured employees with drug and alcohol screenings when needed. Collaborates with leadership to promote a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conducts fire system inspections
• Manages inventory of fire safety equipment
• Evaluates work areas for fire risks
• Supports environmental response efforts
• Assists contractors with safety-related tasks
• Performs troubleshooting and minor repairs on fire suppression systems
• Handles emergency responses and provides basic medical care

Requirements

• Current paramedic or EMT-A certification in Tennessee
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Firefighting, HazMat, or EMS
• CPR and AED certifications required
