About the Role
Performs routine inspections and maintenance of fire suppression and control systems within a facility. Responds to fire alarms, fires, and medical emergencies, providing basic emergency care and assisting injured employees with drug and alcohol screenings when needed. Collaborates with leadership to promote a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conducts fire system inspections
- Manages inventory of fire safety equipment
- Evaluates work areas for fire risks
- Supports environmental response efforts
- Assists contractors with safety-related tasks
- Performs troubleshooting and minor repairs on fire suppression systems
- Handles emergency responses and provides basic medical care
Requirements
- Current paramedic or EMT-A certification in Tennessee
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Firefighting, HazMat, or EMS
- CPR and AED certifications required
