Fire Inspector - Full-Time, Days

About the Role

This position involves performing routine inspections and maintenance of fire suppression and control systems within the facility. It responds to fire alarms, fires, and medical emergencies, providing basic emergency care and supporting safety protocols. The role includes data entry, system testing, troubleshooting, minor repairs, and managing safety inventories. It collaborates with contractors and supports environmental response activities. The position requires adherence to safety standards and effective communication with team members and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular fire system inspections and testing
• Respond to emergencies and provide basic emergency medical care
• Support environmental and safety compliance activities
• Assist with troubleshooting and minor repairs of fire systems
• Manage safety inventories and support contractor activities

Requirements

• Current paramedic or EMT-A certification in Tennessee
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Firefighting, HazMat, or EMS
• CPR and AED certification
• Knowledge of fire safety, emergency procedures, and safety regulations
• Proficient in computer applications, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle stressful situations
