What You'll Do
- C Conduct fire safety inspections by testing smoke detectors, pull stations, etc. for proper operation
- I Investigate complaints of fire safety hazards
- C Compile data and order actions to comply with codes and ordinances
- I Issue citations for violations of state and county fire codes
- A Advise property owners of action necessary to resolve violations
- P Prepare fire inspection reports to document activities and results of each inspection
Requirements
- H High school diploma or equivalent
- S Self-motivated
- D Detail-oriented
- C Excellent communication and customer service skills
- V Willingness to work overtime as required
- D Must possess a valid driver’s license
- C Clean and clear driving and criminal records
- M Must be mechanically inclined and like working with your hands
