About the role
Ohio Fire Code requires all fire protection equipment and systems to be inspected annually or more frequently. Every business has to contract for these services.
Responsibilities
- Generate new customers and cross sell existing customers for the required inspections of fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, fire alarm, exit/emergency lighting, and fire suppression systems.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of business-to-business sales experience.
- Willingness to cold call.
- Excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
- Able to meet minimum performance standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Proficient with using the internet for research.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
- Minimum High school diploma or GED.
- Reliable vehicle, valid Driver’s License, and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.
Qualifications
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Skills
- Strong sales and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of Ohio Fire Code and related regulations.

- First year compensation typically ranges from $60,000 - $120,000 with the possibility to earn more in future years with the accumulation of prospects.
