About the Role
Fire Fighter II-Paramedics are dual-role emergency responders who combine advanced emergency medical care with firefighting expertise to respond to California's diverse all-hazard emergencies. Serving in one of the nation's largest all-hazard emergency response organizations, you'll work alongside highly skilled professionals dedicated to protecting California's people, property, and natural resources.
Responsibilities
- Respond to a wide range of emergencies, including wildland fires, structure fires, vehicle accidents, rescues, and medical emergencies
- Provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) care to those who need it most
- Work as part of a highly trained crew

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid California driver’s license
- Current EMT-Basic certification
- Ability to pass a background check
- Pass a physical fitness test
- Pass a drug screening
Qualifications
- Completion of a firefighter academy program
- Completion of a paramedic program
- Experience in emergency medical services
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Pay
Salary range: $75,000 - $95,000 annually
