Responsibilities

• Install, program, troubleshoot, configure, commission, and service Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control and CCTV Systems.
• Perform panel repair/reprogramming, device replacement/repair, resolve low voltage circuit troubles, and conduct system testing.
• Organize and effectively utilize technical resources, information, materials, and support to ensure efficient execution of tasks.
• Program fire alarm, security, and access control system panels, focusing primarily on networked fire alarm systems.

Requirements

• 3+ years documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety Systems, Access Control, CCTV, and Security Systems.
• Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals.
• Experience with hand tools, test equipment, multi-meter usage, digital analyzers, and commissioning devices.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
• Flexible work schedule, including weekends, and potential overnight travel.
• Proven customer service skills, leadership abilities, and adherence to safety guidelines.
• Valid driver's license meeting company requirements.
• Pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
• Able to obtain and maintain required licenses.
• Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly.

Qualifications

• Two-year Associates Degree in Electronics, Network, Computer Science, or related field.
• NICET Level II certification or ability to obtain within the first year.

Skills

• Working knowledge of electronic and digital test equipment.
• Basic understanding of Network concepts and architectures.
• Extended knowledge of DOS and Windows.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in short periods.
