Fire/Content Technician

Job Summary

ServiceMaster Cleaning and Restoration by Roome is seeking experienced and entry-level restoration team members to assist with emergency restoration and disaster recovery services.

Responsibilities

• Performs onsite cleaning of structures and contents due to fire and odor losses.
• Performs inventory of contents for replacement and removal from the property, tracking throughout the cleaning process and packing back.
• Onsite pack downs/manipulation for larger water losses.
• Sets up and monitors odor control devices and deodorization machines.

Requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to read and follow product label usage instructions.
• Reports to work on time in a clean, complete uniform, and with a positive attitude.
• Moves up to 70 pounds often, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.
• Can stand and walk for extended periods of time. Lifting, squatting, crawling, and crouching is required.
• Uses phone/tablet applications to document progress, including notes, pictures, and contents tracking.
• Able to inspect attics and crawlspaces.
• Must be able to wear respirators, which are used in certain situations, and able to seal to the face.
• Able to work inside or outside during all weather conditions.

Qualifications

Applicants must be over 21 years old, have a clean driving record, be able to pass a drug screening, and clear a background check.

Schedule

* Monday through Friday, 8am – 4:30pm, 40+ hours per week
