Responsibilities
- Install and service fire alarm systems
- Conduct acceptance tests of new installations or retrofits
- Install control panels, modules, conduits, wires, and intrusion switches
- Perform thorough and quality work
- Upsell products and services to clients
- Respond to system emergencies during regular business hours and off-hours
- Keep paperwork and reports updated
- Build positive client relationships
Requirements
- Experience in troubleshooting
- Experience in programming low-voltage systems
- Ability to install fire alarm systems and identify major issues
- Thorough understanding of NFPA 72 regulations, electrical codes, OSHA requirements, and other applicable regulations
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to crawl up ladders and work in unusual conditions
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience in fire alarm installation and service
- Preferred but not required: experience in troubleshooting, programming low-voltage systems, installing fire alarm systems, identifying major issues, and completing necessary programming

Schedule
This full-time fire alarm installation and service job typically works the morning shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM on Monday through Friday, with participation in an on-call rotation required.
