We need to extract sections:
- About the role: could be Job Profile Summary + Job Description? Probably combine.
- Responsibilities: Essential Duties list.
- Requirements: Minimum Qualifications? Also maybe Desired Qualifications? But we have separate sections: Requirements, Qualifications, Skills. The instruction: Use headings for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we need to map content.
We need to decide what goes where.
Typically:
- About the role: overview (Job Profile Summary + Job Description maybe).
- Responsibilities: Essential Duties.
- Requirements: Minimum Qualifications.
- Qualifications: Desired Qualifications? Or maybe both? But we have separate Skills.
- Skills: maybe list of specific skills from Desired Qualifications (programming, NFPA, NICET, etc.)
- Benefits: from Department Statement (flexible schedules, vacation, sick leave, holidays, tuition reduction, parental leave, benefits package, retirement, volunteer time, wellness, disability, EAP, discounts).
- Pay: Salary Ranges.
- Schedule: DAYS AND SCHEDULE.
We must not repeat job title as heading. Also not include Job ID etc.
We must not include boilerplate like EEO, legal, etc. Also remove application instructions.
We must preserve all substantive info; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep the specifics: e.g., "High School Diploma and three years (3) experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved." Keep that exactly.
Essential Duties list: we need to keep each duty as a bullet . The list is long; we need to preserve all.
Desired Qualifications: we need to keep the list exactly as given, but maybe split into bullet points.
Working Environment: maybe could go under Skills? But we have Skills section; maybe we put working environment details there? However the instruction says Skills heading for skills. Could include both technical skills and physical requirements? Might be better to put under Skills: list of skills (programming, NFPA, NICET, etc.) and maybe also include physical abilities? But we have Working Environment separate; not a heading we have. Could incorporate into Skills or Qualifications? The instruction only gave a set of possible headings; we can omit others. So we need to fit content into those headings.
We have: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule.
We need to decide where each piece goes.
Let's map:
- About the role: Job Profile Summary + Job Description (first paragraph). Could also include that it's a Fire Alarm Technician role.
- Responsibilities: Essential Duties (list).
- Requirements: Minimum Qualifications (HS diploma + 3 years experience OR equivalent).
- Qualifications: Desired Qualifications (experience, knowledge, evidence). Could also include certifications etc.
- Skills: maybe list of specific skills from Desired Qualifications (programming fire alarm systems, troubleshooting, NFPA 72/25, specific systems, NICET certification, etc.) plus maybe communication skills.
- Benefits: Department Statement bullet points.
- Pay: Salary Ranges.
- Schedule: DAYS AND SCHEDULE.
We also have Working Environment details; maybe could go under Skills? But it's not a skill; maybe under Qualifications? Could be under Requirements? Not exactly. Could be under About the role? Might be okay to include under About the role as part of description? But we need to preserve all substantive info; we could add a paragraph under About the role that includes working environment details. However the instruction says "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So we could combine Working Environment into About the role or Skills.
Better: Put Working Environment under Skills? Not ideal. Could put under Qualifications? Might be considered as "physical requirements" which could be a qualification. But we have separate Skills heading; maybe we can put physical requirements under Skills as "Physical abilities: lifting up to 75 lbs, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, fine finger dexterity, etc." That seems plausible.
Thus Skills section will include both technical skills and physical requirements.
Now we need to format.
We must output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences.
We'll produce something like:
