Fire Alarm Systems Engineer

About the role

Responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with local codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and install fire alarm systems in commercial buildings
• Conduct system testing and inspections to ensure proper operation
• Provide technical support and training to building occupants
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure system integration

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in fire alarm systems installation and maintenance
• Knowledge of NFPA 72 and local building codes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software

Skills

• Proficient in fire alarm systems design and installation
• Knowledge of fire suppression systems
• Experience with various types of fire alarms and detectors
