Fire Alarm Sr Field Service Technician
Responsibilities
- Perform periodic tests and yearly NFPA fire alarm inspections to ensure operational readiness and compliance with safety regulations.
- Use tools like multimeters and hand tools to troubleshoot and resolve faults in fire alarm components, including smoke detectors, pull stations, and notification devices.
- Program various fire alarm control panels (FACPs) and integrated systems like EBI, ensuring they adhere to specific site plans and contract requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of all inspections, tests, and service actions.
- Document and communicate technical guidance to customers on system operation and mentor junior technicians in fire safety standards and troubleshooting techniques.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical service or field service role.
- Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
