Fire Alarm Install Helper

Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. The company is seeking a Fire Alarm Helper to join a team of over 1,200 fire protection professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of fire alarm equipment and the service, repair, and maintenance of fire alarm systems under direct supervision of a licensed Fire Alarm Technician.
• Assist with diagnosing and evaluating systems that require servicing, as well as troubleshoot issues that arise during inspections, under direct supervision of a licensed Fire Alarm Technician.
• Interact with customers, contractors, vendors, and other employees in a respectful, professional manner.

Schedule

Some overtime, nights, weekends, and on‑call hours may be required.

Requirements

• Work experience, training, or education in the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of alarm systems or related equipment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to work in a variety of businesses and institutions, including commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, education, and government facilities.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain any applicable state licenses.
• A current driver’s license is preferred.
• Must be able to satisfy government, federal, and customs background‑check requirements.
